vet success / bestkuraceja sukceso

today's visit to the vet was a success. Fae is so well behaved, it's amazing! anyway, she received her second vaccination, flea treatment and intestinal wormer. when i asked about a possible vaccination against the cat flu i was told that the vaccination she was scheduled to get was against feline leukemia AND the cat flu, so she should be alright. the vet, who also has a Devon, said that she suspected Fae to be younger than the 2yrs that the RSPCA had guessed her to be because she's so energetic... could Fae be 1-something yrs old?? hmmmmmm....... also, it seems like Fae has gained some weight! she was 2.9kg/6lbs when we took her to the vet dec. 17th and now she's 3.2kg/7lbs! D: i suppose that she was a bit underweight at 2.9kg so the weight gain is good, but she gained it in such a short period of time... it's definitely time i start weighing all of her food properly so that she doesn't gain any more! lucky for her she wont have to visit the vet again for another year provided she doesn't get sick or hurt. :)

  1. Fae is so cool. Devon Rexes do look unusual, but if they are strange I think they're strange in a beautiful way. Glad she seems generally healthy!

Thank you for following my blog, too, and the kind comments. :D x

  2. Fae is a beautiful girl. We are glad she checked out very healthy at the vet!
    Happy Friday to you,
    ~ Noah

  3. I wish mine behaved a little even on the WAY to the vet's office! We have one cat that basically has to be sedated so she can be examined!

  4. Beautiful Fae, we are so glad your vet visit went so well! :)

    Have a great weekend!

  5. Way to go, Fae! When I go to the vet's office, I am so skerred I just curl up in a little ball and try to be invisible.

  6. FAe is jsut beaitiful and very lucky that you gave her a loving furever home. Have a great weekend.

  7. Hi Fae and Fae's human! Just a quick note to say thanks for reading and commenting Thursday about Sancha. We have some great news to share (hint: it's about Sancha) ... stop by and read our newest post if you have a chance. :)

  8. Glad the vet visit was a success :-) If she is gaining weight a lot in a short period, maybe she is younger as your vet said? Hmmm.
Either way, Fae is beautiful and I'm happy she is a healthy kitty :-)
