signs of fall? / ĉu signo pri aŭtuno?

the weather has been strange the past couple of days... rainy, windy and chilly. i wonder if these are signs of fall? this will be my first fall in Australia and supposedly Brisbane's fall is rather bland.

lastatempe la vetero estis stranga.... pluva, venta kaj malvarmeta. mi scivolas, ĉu tio estas signo pri aŭtuno? ĉi-foje estos mia unua fojo sperti aŭtunon Aŭstralie kaj laŭ aliaj homoj la aŭtuno de Brisbanno estas tute neinteresa.

Fae has been spending her mornings curled up in blankets next to me snoozing. i wish i could snooze too but nooooo, i have to work. sucks being a human sometimes. :'( later in the day when it's usually less chilly and sunnier i find her snoozing in sunspots. *jealous again*

lastatempe Fae forpasas la matenojn dormante en tapiŝetoj apud mi. ankaŭ mi volas dormi, sed neeeeeee, mi devas labori. esti homo fojfoje aĉas. :'( pli poste dum la tago kiam ne plu estas tiel malvarmete kaj nube mi trovas la dormantan Fae en sunbrilo. *denove ĵaluziĝas*

today we took Fae to the vet. not because she was sick or anything, we just needed her microchip number to be verified. when we got her from the RSPCA we were told that her microchip had been registered but it turns out that she wasn't in the national pet registry, so we have to register her. :/ everything went fine at the vet's, though. as usual Fae was amazingly well behaved. :) we even practiced "sit" in the vet's office. i wish i had had my camera! :'(

hodiaŭ ni portis Fae al bestkuracejo. ne, ŝi ne estis malsana ktp, ni bezonis nur kontroli la numeron de ŝia mikro-blato (ĉu oni uzas tiojn por bestoj en via lando?). kiam ni adoptis ŝin ĉe la RSPCA ili diris al ni, ke ŝia numero jam estis registrita, sed ni elkovris, ke ĝi ne estas registrita en la nacia registr-sistemo, do ni mem devas registari ŝin. :/ sed ĉio glate iris ĉe la bestkuracejo. kiel kutime Fae kondutis mirinde. :) ni eĉ ekzercis la ordonon "sidiĝu" en la oficejo. bedaŭrinde mi ne havis mian fotilon! :'(

*yawns* i really wish i could get as much sleep as Fae does....
