Iggy is even worse.

Iggy estas eĉ pli malbona.

Iggy, my part-time hero / Iggy, mia part-tempa heroo

over the last 3 or so days, various bugs have somehow been getting into the apartment..... and i HATE bugs. HATE them. i always depends on the other human to kill them/escort them out while i stand on the other side of the room in horror, but sometimes the other human isn't around/can't be bothered to do anything about the bug... in comes my new hero, Iggy! the past few days Iggy has killed and (to my utter disgust) ate them all! :D

dum la pasintaj 3 tagoj, diversaj insektoj iele eniris la apartamenton........ kaj mi MALAMAS insektojn. MALAMEGAS ilin. ĉiam mi dependas de la alia homo pri mortigi/eksterenporti la insektojn dum mi timege staradas sur la alia flanko de la ĉambro, sed foje la alia homo ne hejme estas aŭ li ne volas fari ion pri la insektoj........ sed tiam alvenas mia nova heroo, Iggy! dum la pasintaj kelkaj tagoj, Iggy mortigis kaj (tute terure) manĝis ĉiujn insektojn! :D

yesterday, however, i caught Iggy much more cautiously playing with a bug and he simply played with it, never trying to kill or eat it. here's a little videoclip of it.

tamen hieraŭ mi trovis, ke Iggy simple kaj tre zorgeme ludadis kun insekto. li neniam provis mortigi aŭ manĝi ĝin. jen filmeto pri ĝi.

in case you were wondering, Iggy's other part-time job is being a clown. Iggy can be amazingly silly/crazy at times. :P

parenteze, la alia part-tempa laboro de Iggy estas kiel pajaco. ofte Iggy estas nekredeble naivega kaj strangega. :P

Iggy is strange for several reasons, reason number 1 being he thinks the heater has a flavor! a VERY NICE flavor, apparently. i have videographic evidence to back my claim!

Iggy estas stranga plurkiale, sed la 1a kialo estas, ke li kredas, ke la varmigilo bongustas! bongustEGas, fakte. jen, mi havas filmeton kiel pruvo pri ĉi tio!

have you ever heard of a cat that licks a heater or other hot things? any idea why Iggy does such a weird thing?? SURELY there's a reason.....! he licks the heater EVERYday, SEVERAL TIMES a day and ONLY when it's on and hot. he even does it when it's so hot that you wouldn't even want to touch it with your hands let alone your tongue.

ĉu vi iam ajn aŭdis pri kato, kiu lekadas varmigilon aŭ alian varmaĵon? ĉu vi havas iun ajn ideon pri kial Iggy faradas ion tiel strangega?? CERTE devas esti ian kialon.....! ĈIUtage KELKfoje li lekadas la varmigilon kaj NUR kiam ĝi estas ŝaltita kaj varma. li eĉ lekadas ĝin kiam ĝi estas tiel varma, ke oni ne volus tuŝi ĝin mane kaj certe ne lange.

......maybe he's just a masochist. lmao

......eble simple plaĉas al li sin dolorigi mdr.

Fae is such a sweet cat that sometimes she even seems like an angel. this weekend, however, i found out that Fae has a secret...!

Fae estas tiel dolĉa, ke fojfoje ŝi ŝajnas kvazaŭ ŝi estas angeĝo. tamen, ĉi-semajnfine mi malkovris, ke Fae havas sekreton...!

ŜI NENIAM EKSCIOS! nun mi kontrolu kiel malfermi la malvarman manĝaĵujon.

apparently she has a Twitter account and she tweets from time to time! i have no idea how! i only found this out when she accidentally put an @ in front of my name on Twitter! HMPH!

verŝajne ŝi havas konton ĉe Twitter kaj ŝi foje tvitas per ĝi! mi tute ne scias kiel ŝi tion faras! mi eksciis ĉi tion okaze de tio, ke ŝi senintence metis @ antaŭ mia kontonomo ĉe Twitter! BAĤ!

FAE: GAĤ! vi ne eksciu tion! HOMO: estas bone, mi ne koloras. se vi ne tro tvitos pri manĝaĵo mi eĉ sekvos vin!

but it's ok, i'm not mad at her. how could i be? in fact, i've even made this handy-dandy image to point people to her Twitter account.

last week the other human got a new computer. he ordered the parts online and built the computer himself like only a crazy person would do. Fae was very curious about the process, of course. she had to come and check things out.

la pasintan semajnon la alia homo akiris novan komputilon. la erojn li mendis rete kaj li mem konstruis la komputilon ĉar frenezuloj tion faras. kompreneble, Fae estis ege scivola pri la konstruado. ŝi nepre devis veni proksimen por ĉion rigardi.

"hmmm....."

"don't know what he's doing, but i better help." / "mi ne scias, kion li faras, sed mi helpu."

"hmmm.... "

other human: "move plz"; Fae: "BUT I HELP!" / alia homo: "movu, bv"; Fae: "SED MI HELPAS!"

the other human didn't appreciate Fae's help and removed her from the table.

la alia homo estis nedankema pro la helpo de Fae kaj movigis ŝin for de la tablo.

"grrrrr......"

and this is how Fae felt about that. :P she didn't give up, however.

kaj jen kiel Fae sentis pri tio. :P tamen, ŝi ne rezignis pri tio.

Fae: "HI I HELP AGAIN" / Fae: "SAL MI DENOVE HELPOS"

other human: "no thanks" / alia homo: "ne, dankon"

and yet again her help was unappreciated.

"whatever he's doing, i bet it won't work!" / "kion ajn li faras ne sukcesos, mi certas!"

eventually she reluctantly retired to the fridge to "snoopervise" and the other human finished building his computer which worked despite probably having a few Fae hairs in it. :)

post multe da provoj, ŝi finfine malĝoje foriris kaj restis sur la fridujo por kontroli la situacion. la alia homo finfine finkonstruis sian komputilon kaj la komputilo bone funkciis malgraŭ tio, ke ene verŝajne troviĝas kelkaj Fae-aj haroj. :)

lately i've been watching an anime (Japanese animation) called くるねこ ("Kuruneko"). it's about a lady who takes in cats and ended up keeping 5 of them. one of the episodes is about トイレ・ハイ (literally "toilet high"). as stated in the episode, "toilet high" is "cats becoming high after pooing for some reason."

lastatempe mi spektas animeon (japanan animacion), kiu nomiĝas くるねこ ("Kuruneko"). ĝi temas pri virino, kiu hejmen portas senhejmajn katojn kaj fine alproprigis 5 el ili. unu el la epizodoj temas pri トイレ・ハイ (laŭvorte "neceseja ebrio"). laŭ la epizodo, "neceseja ebrio" estas jene: "iale katoj fariĝas ebriita post fekado."

Poko very briefly goes crazy climbing curtains etc before returning back to normal as if nothing happened.

Fae's toilet high/necesej-ebrio de Fae

Fae runs around like crazy when she's on her toilet high. lately she's been making a mad dash from the litter box into the kitchen, jumping onto the counter, microwave, fridge and wine rack until she's all the way up on top of the cupboard near the ceiling.

Fae ĉirkaŭkuras kvazaŭ ŝi freneziĝas kiam ŝi suferas necesejan ebrion. lastatempe ŝi ofte rapide kuras de ŝia necesejo al la kuirejo. ŝi saltas sur la kuirejtablon, miroondilon, vin-tenaĵon ĝis ŝi estas sur la ŝranko proksime al la plafono.
